The Ember Rufflizard is an endemic life creature featured in Monster Hunter Wilds, and capturing it is part of Dareel's Research Report (Cont.) side quest. Here's a detailed guide to locating and capturing this creature:

Location

• The Ember Rufflizard is found in Area 15 of the Oilwell Basin, a volcanic region filled with lava. This area is located on the lowest level of the map.
• Occasionally, they can also be spotted in Area 9 near a crater, but Area 15 is the most reliable spot.
• Look for small lizards with glowing green ridges on their backs. They often travel in small groups and are easy to identify against the lava backdrop.

Preparation

• Bring a Cool Drink or capture a Chillmantle Bug on your way to Area 15 to counteract the extreme heat of the region.
• Equip your Capture Net from the item bar. These creatures are passive, so you don’t need to sneak up on them.

How to Capture

1. Locate the Ember Rufflizard in Area 15.
2. Aim your Capture Net using LT (or equivalent button) and wait until the targeting box turns orange.
3. Fire the net by pressing RT to capture one of the lizards.

Rewards

Once you return to Dareel at the Windward Plains Base Camp with the captured Ember Rufflizard, you'll receive:

• 10 Might Seeds (boosts attack temporarily)
• 5 Honey (used for crafting Mega Potions)
• 100 Guild Points.
