Fix Monster Hunter Wilds Benchmark Crashes Now!

    Workarounds and Fixes

    1. Update GPU Drivers:
      • AMD users should upgrade to Adrenalin 24.12.1.
      • NVIDIA users should also ensure they have the latest drivers installed.
    2. Disable Frame Generation and Upscaling:
      • Turn off frame generation in the benchmark settings.
      • Run the benchmark at native resolution with medium graphics settings.
    3. Run as Administrator:
      • Launch the tool in compatibility mode and as an administrator to avoid permission-related crashes.
    4. Increase Virtual Memory:
      • Temporarily increase virtual memory size if low memory is suspected, though adding more RAM is a long-term solution.
    5. Close Background Applications:
      • Free up system resources by closing unnecessary applications before running the benchmark.
    6. Verify Game Files (Steam):
      • Use Steam's "Verify Integrity of Game Files" feature to ensure no corrupted files are causing issues.

    Current Status

There is no universal fix yet, as the crashes appear tied to optimization issues within the tool itself. Capcom is reportedly aware of these problems, but no official patch has been released as of now.
