Join Friends in Monster Hunter Wilds: Ultimate Guide!
To play with friends in Monster Hunter Wilds, you'll need to form a Link Party. Here's how to do it:
- Open the game menu and navigate to the Communication tab.
- Select "Link Party" or "Invite a Friend" option.
- You can invite friends in several ways:
- Invite from your Steam/PS5/Xbox friends list
- Search for friends using their Hunter ID
- Invite from your in-game Hunter Friends list
Once your friends accept the invitation, you'll be in a Link Party together.
Playing Together
- When a Link Party member posts a quest, other members will receive an automatic invitation to join.
- You can join quests through the "Link Member Quests" menu by talking to Alma.
- For main story missions, other players can join when the "Begin Quest" indicator appears after initial cutscenes.
Important Notes
- You must first defeat Chatcabra, the toad-like monster at the start of the game, to unlock multiplayer options.
- Link Parties support up to four players per quest.
- You cannot join quests of players who have progressed further in the main storyline than you.
- To freely explore the map together, you'll need to set up an Environment Link.
Remember, Monster Hunter Wilds features cross-platform play, so you can enjoy the game with friends regardless of their gaming platform.
