MH Wilds Armor Upgrade Guide - Maximize Your Battle Power!

To upgrade armor in Monster Hunter Wilds, follow these steps:

Progress through the story: Armor upgrading becomes available after reaching Chapter 2-2, immediately following a battle with the monster Rompopolo in the Oilwell Basin region. This is typically a few hours into the game.
Visit Gemma, the Smithy: Speak with Gemma at any Base Camp, particularly in the Oilwell Basin, to unlock the armor upgrading mechanic.

Go to the Smithy: At any Base Camp, select the "Forge/Upgrade Armor" option from the Smithy's menu.
Select an Armor Piece:
- Choose a piece of armor from your inventory (marked with a red chest for stored items or a yellow checkmark for equipped ones).
- Click "Upgrade" to access the upgrade menu.
Use Armor Spheres:
- Spend Armor Spheres to increase an armor piece's level and defense stats. Different types of Armor Spheres provide varying upgrade points:
  - Armor Sphere: 10 points
  - Armor Sphere+: 50 points
  - Advanced Armor Sphere: 200 points.
- Low Rank armor requires fewer points per level compared to High Rank armor, which demands higher-level Armor Spheres for upgrades.
Confirm Upgrade: Allocate the required points and confirm the upgrade to improve your armor's stats.

Save higher-tier Armor Spheres for High Rank armor, as these pieces require more points per level.
Continue questing and gathering materials to collect more Armor Spheres for future upgrades.
