The Sandstar is a small, nocturnal Endemic Life creature found in Monster Hunter Wilds. Here's what you need to know about finding and capturing it:

Location and Spawn Conditions

• Found in the Windward Plains, primarily between areas 11 and 16
• Spawns during nighttime in the season of Plenty
• Most likely to appear in area 13, south of a small pond

Appearance and Behavior

• Small creature with pale, luminescent fur
• Vibrant blue and white color, resembling a puffy light blue ball with a small blue tail
• Highly vigilant with excellent hearing
• Flees quickly when approached

Capture Method

1. Equip a Screamer Pod (obtainable from flying Baunos using the Hook Slinger)
2. Locate the Sandstar in the designated area
3. Fire the Screamer Pod near the Sandstar to stun it
4. Quickly use the capture net to catch it while stunned

Alternative methods include:

• Chasing it on your Seikret mount
• Using a Ghillie Suit to sneak up on it

Tips

• If the Sandstar doesn't spawn, rest at your campsite and choose Nighttime and Plenty again
• Be prepared to act quickly, as the stun effect is brief

Capturing a Sandstar will reward you with the "I caught a shooting star!" achievement and Samin will give you five wild herbs, ten honey, and 300 Guild Points.
